Welcome to Quapaw Community Center's Site!

Our Mission Statement: To enhance the quality of community life, of individuals and families, through recreation, education, and service.

Our facility is located in historic downtown Hot Springs at 500 Quapaw Avenue, in the heart of the Quapaw/Prospect Neighborhood. We are conveniently located within walking distance of Bath House Row, the U.S. Post Office, Wheatley Park, and other downtown attractions. We are also on the bus transportation route.

The center offers a variety of daily programs and scheduled activities:Our beautiful indoor swimming pool is heated to a pleasant 84 degrees year round and offers water classes at all levels, from intense water aerobics, to a much milder but beneficial aqua arthritis class. Time is set aside each day for lap swimming as well.

Bingo games are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:45--3:30 p.m. A low-cost lunch menu is available.

Other exercise activities include floor aerobics, yoga, and several types of dance. Members and guests have access to the gymnasium, the pool, the sauna, and the exercise room. Our facilities are available for rent: the pool, Brown Hall, the kitchen, and meeting rooms.

Throughout the year, the center sponsors a variety of entertainment programs for members and guests, such as our Jazz Cabaret in the fall.

The center also sponsors The Presidential Active Lifestyle program and the Presidential Champions program.
